Watermelon!

As you can see from these pictures...this boy LOVES watermelon! He could seriously eat a whole one by himself if I'd let him...even the rinds.

On the countdown...

Kendall was super excited to go on an airplane to see Nana & Papa. We made a paper chain so she could count down the days. Every morning she would wake up and take one off. It was a fun thing to see her do.

Saying Prayers

This is Kaden folding his arms for prayer...

He will stay like this the whole time until the pray is over...and when we say, "Amen", he throws his hand up in the air! We are working on the whole eye-closing concept. Most of the time when we ask him to close his eyes, he has to use his hands to shut them. Seriously so cute!

Summertime fun: Forts & Popsicle

Daddy made THE coolest fort EVER! They played in it forever. So cute. I tried to make one that didn't even come close to this one. Kendall was super disappointed with my fort making skills. It's a good thing she has her daddy around!

Running around outside, playing with water, and eating popsicles...what more could a kid ask for?

The Tale of the Sleepy Pee-er

Poor baby!
If Kendall does not take an afternoon nap...she will crash in the evening at any given moment.

Sometimes we like it better when she doesn't have a nap because she will go to bed at 6:30pm and sleep all night long! If she does take a nap, she's up till 9pm or so. We tend to go with the flow around the house...some days she naps and some days she doesn't.

Siblings Bonding

These two love to listen to their daddy read a story. They sit so still and quiet while the story is being read. It's probably because Shane is a great story teller.

Playing with a magnet doll...and getting along so well! I love these moments!

Does it get any cuter that this....?

On a walk after bathtime and before bed. Shane loves to take them for joy rides around the neighborhood for two reasons...(1) to show them new and interesting things and (2) to give me time to get stuff done by myself. He's a great daddy/hubby!
