Christmas Decorating

Since my parents were here, I wanted them to help me put up the artificial Christmas tree my mom gave me. I remembered it being a pain in the rear...and it was exactly how I remembered it. I'm super glad they were here. I would have thrown it away an hour into it.
My dad spent a couple/few hours fixing the lights and restringing them. Once the tree was up (a day later), Kendall and Kaden had fun putting the decorations up.

Keaton's Blessing

Keaton was given a name and a blessing at church.. He, of course, behaved very well...not a beep! It was great blessing him in this ward. We have great friends here that love us and we love them!

It was great having our parents here.


Shane did a fantastic job. I am grateful that he is their dad. I couldn't have chosen a better dad for them. He's awesome!

Thanksgiving 2010

This Thanksgiving, we received a "real" turkey from one of Shane's friends who has a small farm. With all the hype surrounding the topic of eating animals without any "extras", I was really excited to have a farm raised bird for our dinner....UNTIL... I saw this...


^Somebody please tell me what the heck this is??? I looks like tons of blackheads everywhere. For those of you who know my picking fetish...I was in heaven. CRAZY!^

Nana & Papa Come to Visit

My parents came to visit 3 weeks after Keaton was born. We consolidated the trip by including Thanksgiving and Keaton's blessing at church. My parents stayed for a full week and we were so happy they made the trip. (They even got on an airplane!)

My Little Wet Nurse!

So, the other day, Kendall decides to take her little baby doll down her shirt and places her on her chest. I asked her what she was doing and she said, "Her baby was hungry and crying" then she proceeds to act out breastfeeding for a few minutes. Her expression in these pictures crack me up. Do I really look like that when I'm nursing???

Again...she's a funny little girl!

Kendall loves to play with her new little brother.

The other day she laid on the blanket with him and started to talk to him. She put her finger on his forehead and pushed it down saying "He's mad!" then she would push it up and say, "He's happy!" What an funny little imagination this little girl has. I love her to pieces. She's a crack up!
