Sprinklers

Every evening at 5 o'clock, the sprinklers come on and my kids run outside. It's a great hungry distractor...cuz dinner isn't usually done/started by then. They play and play and play. And a bonus...they actually get along very well together...outside!

After school snack

On the two days that I work, I love picking my kids up from their sitter and taking them home for a special snack. This particular day, I bought them sugar cookies from a bakery and they were beyond excited. I love my kiddos and I am very grateful that they are very well loved and cared for by a very sweet babysitter. Thanks, Emily!

Family Bowling

We took the kids bowling one Saturday afternoon...just for fun! They has a blast. Kendall was loving her cute little shoes. Daddy was such a great teacher. It was fun to watch them learn something new.
(Watch the videos below)

Big Bed

The time has come to put the 2 kids together in the same room in preparation for the arrival of #3. I thought it was going to be a tougher transition that it really was. They have been doing super well. There are some nights when they have their moments, but for the most part...we are super excited about it! Kaden is having most of the struggles with the change, but having Kendall in the room with him has helped...and visa versa, I'm sure.

Shane gave them flashlights to stay in their beds and they love it.

Kendall is always good about yelling from her bed to let us know that Kaden is out of his bed. The other night I went in and found Kaden resting his head on the table. Not sleeping...just resting! So funny!

Big Mess

Oh...the Kaden...

I found him in the pantry doing this...

He thought powdered sugar was pretty cool stuff to play in...

And mommy thought is wasn't so cool cleaning it up.

Curly Sue

We put some rollers in Kendall's hair on Saturday night for church the next day. She was super excited to see what it was going to look like. She woke up at 3 am and wanted to take them out to see her curls. I talk her to wait until morning time.

She did and this is what it looked like...

She felt like a princess all day!

Dance Class

Kendall is enrolled in her very first dance class. It would be an understatement to say that she loves it. It is the highlight of her week. It has been a motivating factor with a lot of things around our house. She loves her dance teacher Roxanne. She gives her big hugs when she sees her. She is so much fun to watch.
